You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright. It is quite apparent that the text was copied, by you, verbatim, from http://www.syncmusic.jp/wordpress/?p=1880. Any admin can unblock when the editor agrees not to violate copyrights in the future—Kww(talk) 05:49, 11 November 2012 (UTC). If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Of course I agree not to copyright, but User:Kww is making sound like this intentionally, which I did not.

Decline reason:

Looking at your edit history, I see a long string of problems, including, but not restricted to, the following. You have repeatedly edit warred. You have shown very strong and persistent WP:OWN problems. You have repeatedly, over a prolonged period, made attacks on other editors, apparently thinking that anyone who expresses disagreement with you or reverts any of your edits must be personally harassing you. You have persistently failed to take in things which have been carefully explained to you, sometimes with several editors making attempts to clarify things for you. You have repeatedly made inaccurate statements, misrepresenting both your own actions and those of other editors. (An example is below, where you deny that you copied a paragraph word for word, when the evidence is there for anyone who cares to check the link against your editing history.) You have made multiple copyright infringements, about which you have received numerous messages from May 2010 onwards. Since you now indicate that you do not understand copyright, despite the large number of attempts to explain to you, it seems unlikely that you will suddenly grasp the point now. You say that your copyright infringements were not intentional, and that may be true. It seems to me that many of the problems are probably due to a sincere inability to understand, rather than any malicious intention, but the reasons for the problems don't matter. All that matters is that, for whatever reasons, the problems caused by your attempts to contribute to Wikipedia far outweigh any benefits. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:34, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You need to reread appeal this block again, especially the section about "abusing the unblock process". An exact copy of a large block of text from http://www.syncmusic.jp/wordpress/?p=1880 showed up in one of your edits. You've forced the violation in again after it was removed. You repeatedly denied having copied it, despite it being a word for word copy (including stragne capitalization that makes it extremely unlikely that it is your work being copied the opposite direction). You have provided no credible explanation. Why should any administrator believe your unblock request if you won't admit to the original violation? I can't deny your unblock request, but another admin will review it. I can't believe he's going to grant it.—Kww(talk) 06:06, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Because I did not think it was considered copyright. Like I said, it was not intentional. Sysmithfan (talk) 06:18, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand how you could have been confused about it being a copyright violation, but you said you didn't copy it. Which is it? You didn't copy it, or you didn't realise that made it a copyright violation?—Kww(talk) 06:28, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Like it was stated previously, I did not copy from "the link you provided". But I did not realize that re-writing and providing reference links to support the information provided would be considered copyright. This is why I reversed the removal of the information I provided for the page. So once again, unintentional copyrighting. Sysmithfan (talk) 06:33, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But you didn't rewrite. You didn't provide references. You took an entire paragraph word for word. The paragraph only shows up in the link I provided. It doesn't show up at all in http://cooljapanmusic.com/kreva-update/. I'm finding this frustrating: I can't unblock if you don't understand what you did was wrong, but your explanaton still doesn't make any sense. It's nearly midnight here. We'll talk more in the morning if no other admin comes along while I'm sleeping.—Kww(talk) 06:43, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You are wrong. I did not copy it word for word. I did provide references behind each fact. And yes it does show up on http://cooljapanmusic.com/kreva-bio/. You may not like hearing this, but now you are lying. All you had to do, was look under "Bio". And if you compare my edits to your link, you will find that it is not copied word for word. Not only that, I do not think you bothered to look at the references. Sysmithfan (talk) 07:11, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just thought I'd stick my nose in here. I've been reading through what you added to the article and the text from the two websites that have been linked to. I would say that you copied a vast amount of the source material. This is well above any reasonable interpretation of close paraphrasing. In your view, leaving out a few words here and there or maybe a paragraph or two from the source material renders it sufficiently different that it is not a copyright violation. This is entirely not the case. What material you have used is still not written in your own words. Any reasonable comparison between your addition and the two websites can only result in a conclusion that you have copied the material, in part if not in full. Also, merely sourcing certain portions of your addition does not remove the copyright violation.
For comparison, I've taken the opening paragraph of your addition to Music Career
After creating a rap duo, BY PHAR THE DOPOEST with his longtime partner, Cuezero in 1996, Kreva has gone on to produce and remix for top artists such as Missy Elliott, and also become a household name as a front man for the chart topping platinum hip hop trio, KICK THE CAN CREW. Any one reading your text and comparing it to the following two can easily see that it is a near identical copy of at least one of them. Irrespective of whether cooljapan or syncmusic copied from each other. I could do comparisons for the rest of the edit, but I hope that just this one example would make it pretty obvious to you. Orphaned non-free media (File:Kreva.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kreva.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Notice

The article List of songs recorded by Sy Smith has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. » Shadowowl | talk 22:36, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Ari Gold (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NALBUM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
