You moved Dhruv Vikram (actor) to Draft:Dhruv Vikram (actor). Thank you for your involvement, however I feel this article would have been better suited with my PROD tag on mainspace.

The reason for this is that I believe that the article did not satisfy the requirements for it to be moved to draftspace. Namely, it did not meet the requirements laid out at Wikipedia:Drafts#During_new_page_review. The topic had potential merit, did not meet the required standard, however there was active involvement by an editor who is clearly very active, and had no COI issues. A simple web search will reveal that the actor is probably notable. I ask you to reconsider, therefore, in this case or stipulate your ideas as to why you disagree.   Kadzi   (talk) 16:48, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Dr. Kadzi, Hello, yeah the actor was notable from google queries, but the article itself was a mess thus I used criteria 1 and 2 mentioned in Wikipedia:Drafts#During_new_page_review which states that “ articles can be moved to draft space if it doesn’t meet the required standards but has some merit hence a better alternative to deletion. I agree that the article was messy; however in order to draftify it should have met the three points stipulated in the guidelines.

"1. the topic has some potential merit, and 2. the article does not meet the required standard, and either 3 or 4."

As an objection it further stipulates in Wikipedia:Drafts#Requirements_for_page_movers that this article should be moved back to mainspace and an AfD tag applied for it to be discussed there. Thank you   Kadzi   (talk) 16:58, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Dr. Kadzi, I guess I should have checked the page history, since you have asked, I am moving the article back to main space. Since it may not survive that long in main space, I better add BLP unsourced tag for any editor to consider improving the article to meet WP:STUB and have reliable sources. That template is an interesting one, and I'll be completely honest I'm not sure if that's a "please help me archive" template or a "this page is getting long, so it should be archived" notice template. Either way, in the case of RafaelPPascual they did not add it so even if it is a "help me archive" style template they might not actually want help. Please just stick to actually improving content and don't mess with maintenance areas. Archiving active users talk pages is very much frowned upon, especially considering these are very experienced users who can do so themselves. @Ngangaesther: Hello, took a look and some is of the sources are very reliable. I.e http://parliament.go.ke is a good source, but you will need more sources. My advice is for you to finish the course, and when you finish each session, go ahead and set-up the next one. I will be reviewing your work right behind you. Your answers should be succinct overviews hitting on the key points. After you complete the PAG session, the next 3 sessions will be very important, particularly Communications and most importantly Deletion. Megan, as our NPP Tutorial states: Reviewing needs a near-admin knowledge of deletion and notability policies. Learn the flowchart so that it becomes 2nd nature to you. SB - while I'm here, I noticed this thread - thought I should comment. NPP review is massively more difficult to do well than counter vandalism work. It took me over a month to complete Barkeep49's NPP course, with both of us working quite intensively on it, and I did not request the permission until he told me that he thought I was ready. I would strongly counsel you to take the same approach with your trainer - please don't rush this, take your time and build up experience before attempting to fly NPP solo. (Courtesy ping to Atsme.) Unexplained content removal

Hi SB - I came across this interaction this morning (while investigating diffs from a current student, who had edited the page before you). You reverted with the edit summary 'unexplained removal' - but the person who you reverted (twice) actually provided a reason for removal in their edit summary both times, indicating that the company is no longer involved in the production of these films. Now, the editor didn't provide a link to a source confirming that what they were doing was correct - but it wasn't unexplained. In a situation like that, bearing WP:BITE in mind, I wouldn't mind a revert, but you should be clear about why you are doing it, and perhaps reach out to the new editor and ask them to provide a source on the article talk page. Girth Summit, Hello Girth, actually I was using SW viewer when patrolling the recent changes, I guess I didn’t see the edit summary by the editor. The SW viewer provides automatic edit summaries hence the ( unexplained content). As I think we discussed before, I'm not too familiar with SW viewer, but I'm slightly alarmed that you would be doing RC patrolling with a tool that doesn't show you the edit summary (like, ?!?!).
