Nathan Bedford Forrest High School

[edit]

I'm not vandalizing the Nathan Bedford Forrest High School article i'm trying to bring a more neuteral point of view to the article. The article should mention that it is black students that are behind the push to rename the school after one of their leaders. Reading it how it is now you would think that the move has the support of white students or was jointly organized by them when it is not. Also "African-American" in reference to blacks is NPOV. It is a PC phrase and unnaceptable. Black or Negro would be a neuteral term. Please don't use threats of censorship to massage a pro-black viewpoint. Whites have rights as well including keeping the excellent naming of their high school, despite blacks trying to take it over. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by YourPTR! (talkcontribs) 06:52, 4 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

The very fact that negroes are trying to change the name of a school founded and named by whites to one of their so called "civil rights" African heroes is proof that negroes are trying to take over America. YourPTR! 19:39, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This was not vandalism. I removed that because I have decided to remove the question from the talk page. I have chosen not to go into a long debate about that, and therefore chose to remove it from the talk page. Please understand and don't revert this again. Ksy92003 (talkcontribs) 15:37, 4 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

It's quite alright. To be honest, when I deleted it, I didn't think anybody would think of that as vandalism. But anyway, all's good and well now. Ksy92003 15:39, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About page blanking

[edit]

Just a heads-up: if the author blanks a page that only s/he has edited, it's not vandalism and shouldn't be reverted - it should be tagged with {{db-author}} instead (check history before tagging). :) --Coredesat 13:30, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think I got a little too zealous; I usually see that. Sorry! --Sylent 14:11, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's all right, it's an honest mistake. --Coredesat 14:29, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clearfelling

[edit]

Your script just un-did four paragraphs of work on the clearfelling article just because I deleted one short incongruous paragraph. What is up with that? 66.41.66.213 06:47, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my fault, go ahead and restore it.--Sylent 06:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sylent

[edit]

Dear sylent, thank you for your help with Talk: Nur Ali Elahi, that person always deletes and vandalizes all the information on the talk page of both Nur Ali Elahi and Ostad Elahi. He also keeps redirecting the Nur Ali Elahi name to Ostad Elahi. Thanks--Persianhistory2008 16:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you mistakenly restore this vandalism or do you have some purpose in it? All 199.198.220.100's recent contributions have been similar vandalism. Cheers! DoubleBlue (Talk) 22:17, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sylent! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 338 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
