Saturn Aura

[edit]

Dear Sydtron,

Thank you for your message. Excuse me for reverting in bulk, I have now taken a more fine approach. That said, I am sorry to say I still found most of your additions inappropriate for the article. Discussing Opel Vectra in Saturn Aura article is in fact OR, because there were no sources cited. Moreover, it seems POV to me, because there is no source provided stating that Opel Vectra should be regarded Aura's "brother" any more than the previous Malibu, the G6 (which in fact lent its entire chassis and most mechanicals to the Aura and is much closer related) or the 2008 Malibu (which is very closely related and does share a fair number of vital interior elements with the Aura).

This is in fact of little encyclopedic value if neither of us has sources, but I believe I could make a very convincing case that Aura is the least related to Vectra of all other Epsilons. I know that the old Malibu sedan and Vectra sedan platforms are in fact incompatible - e.g. Opel's diesels wouldn't fit in the Malibu due to different design arrangements etc. I would have a hard time finding sources for that, but my factual knowledge, aside from adhereing to Wikipedia guidelines and policies, also speaks against singling out Vectra here. The front ends seem similar, but unless we have a strong source for that, I wouldn't make a case of that.

I hope you understand my position. I am sorry for being awfully blunt and brief, but I have very little time for Wikipedia those days.
