Happy New Year, fellow collaborative obsessive. Now, you merged the rather strange article into the marginally less strange article of Sex in space, citing the AfD decision to merge. Thanks for that: it's the kind of thankless gruntwork we wikipedians did more back when we argued about the rules less.

So of course there's a problem. The decision to merge was made at the end of September, the merge implemented at the end of December. In the interim the 2suit featured in a History Channel documentary. Not just peripherally: the bloody things were demonstrated in zero gravity. With that and the more transitory - but oft RS - news articles, including NBC, I can't in good conscience support a merge decision based on what an article no longer is. Nor are we supposed to. It's also clear that splitting 2suit would improve Sex in space. Unless you have objections, I'm splitting.

Here's something that I'm experimenting with: your contribs say that you haven't been editing for a couple of days. If you're busy or otherwise delayed from giving a full-sized reply, feel free to answer with the word "jackhammer" if you don't object so that I can get things over with and you won't waste time. --Kizor 11:05, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Some of the species may have articles too, or will do, so the full name could be linked: eg. The type of edits you have been making at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages) should not be marked as minor. Hello. Overall I really like the improvements you made to the Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace page. However, would you mind if we re-added this part?

Speaking as an admin who processes block requests at WP:AIV, it seems like every week I need to point enthusiastic but overzealous new-page patrollers to this text because he or she has continued to issue escalated warnings for vandalism instances ... even long after the vandal in question stopped editing.

As an example, the removed section was meant to prevent situations like this from happening: Frahod (talk · contribs) was issued a level three warning at 21:19, a level four warning at 21:20, and then reported the editor to AIV at 21:22, however both of these warnings and the AIV report all took place after Frahod stopped editing at 21:12.
