Speedy deletion nomination of BetterBrave

[edit]

Hello SwintRhi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged BetterBrave for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from BetterBrave, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Better Brave

[edit]

Hi! I saw that your article was deleted - I wanted to give you a little feedback on what may have caused this. Offhand it looks like one of the main issues was one of notability - this is honestly what tends to be the most difficult thing about creating articles, especially for businesses or organizations. To show notability you'll have to show where BetterBrave has received a lot of in-depth coverage in independent, reliable sources. This can be a little hard to do with newly established organizations, as they typically don't get a lot of coverage and when they do, it's typically local. While it's not something I always agree with, local coverage is typically greatly depreciated on Wikipedia, as the thought process is that local papers are more likely to cover local organizations as part of a human interest piece. Primary sources, which will be anything that was written or otherwise created by BetterBrave or by any person or organization affiliated with them, cannot show notability and can only back up basic details.

Offhand I don't know that BetterBrave really has enough coverage at this time to satisfy notability requirements. There's some coverage and I definitely think that they will pass guidelines in the near future, but it's just a little light right now. I know that this must be frustrating, but don't feel bad - the notability guidelines for organizations and businesses are probably some of the most difficult ones to satisfy on Wikipedia.
