Some important guidelines

[edit]

Hi Based on your recent edits I think these links will be helpful to you. Please read them carefully.

  • MOS:TV - Manual of Style for Television
  • Template:Infobox television - Information about the parameters to be used in the television article infobox
  • WP:ICTFSOURCES - WikiProject task force Guidelines on sources
  • WP:NOTTVGUIDE - Wikipedia is not TV guide so we don't add information like Time slots and other airing history
  • WP:CRYSTAL- Wikipedia is Not Crystal ball so we don't add scheduled or expected future events like adding end date of the series before the actual date and updating episodes in advance.

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Here [1]] your edit violates Template:Infobox television and WP:NOINDICSCRIPT. We don't add Indic scripts in infobox or in lead anymore. For reboots, remakes, spin-offs, and adaptations we use Related Parameter and We Don't use "SDTV" as it is ambiguous. Sid95Q (talk) 09:37, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from an article, Jaiswal (surname). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thanks. Information icon Sir/Madam, please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Jaiswal (surname). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thanks. Dr.Pinsky (talk) 19:06, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are refusing to explain why you are reverting legitimate changes, that have been explained. You are not communicating separately using any other channels available (Talk Page).

Continuing this would be a violation of Wikipedia's rules, https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Edit_warring

Would you like to take this opportunity to discuss and explain your point of view as to why the changes made where not suitable ?

Do you feel that Congo or Peru where British Colonies ? Could you provide some support, maybe a reference to support this claim ?

Do you feel that the paragraph removed detailing the unrelated awards an referenced book received where relevant ?

Do you disagree that the paragraph removed, was incorrect ? Could you support it's claim that no other countries colonized America for instance, maybe a quick reference ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.28.170.191 (talk) 21:40, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Indian Army. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rockcodder (talk) 12:28, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Land Rover, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Whitley. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
