Speedy deletion nomination of Iteinstein
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Iteinstein requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. smithers - talk 19:36, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Iteinstein, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. smithers - talk 19:49, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Just a tip
[edit]Hi Sv25565. In regard to what you said at Talk:Iteinstein, I think it would be best off for you to create an article at your sandbox (the "Sandbox" link near the top right of the site goes there too) and add onto it there. When you have worked on your to-be article and have proved the notability of the company, which is the main problem you have right now, you should not have to deal with the speedy deletion issues. Does that make sense? I can help you/clarify further should you need it.
Of course, if you can do that now on the article I tagged for speedy deletion, it will not get deleted. However, at the moment, there is still an issue regarding the company's notability here. Cheers! smithers - talk 21:26, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of ITeinstein
[edit]Hello Sv25565,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged ITeinstein for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --MrScorch6200 (t c) 04:35, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
