Hello!

Hello, thank you for your email.

I started editing Wikipedia way back in 2010, back when I was still pretty much a kid. I didn't really do too much though, aside from a few sporadic edits here and there. It wasn't until October 2013 (And yes, to me it has apparently been that long...) when I started to actually make a substantial number of edits, mostly around reverting vandalism. My glory year was 2014, when I became obsessed with Huggle 2 and made countless edits, making the vandals tremble in their seats!

Sometime in 2014 I became active on WP:CHU/S, serving as a clerk there. I kept clerking that page alongside my vandal fighting until 2015, when I successfully ran for global renamer. Since then I have been active in that front, processing username change requests. I still did a lot of vandal fighting, but as time went on I made less and less edits in that field.

At the end of 2016 I ran for RFA, and on January 7, 2017, I passed and became an administrator (What a way to usher in the new year indeed!). Today real life has sucked a lot of time and interest away from Wikipedia, although I still come on here on a regular basis. I still process username change requests (Like yours) and I still enjoy vandal fighting once in a while. The backlogs at AIV never stay cleared for very long, and I don't have as much time in real life to battle vandalism as I did in 2014. However, I feel that I have matured greatly from my teenaged years, but I firmly believe that one never stops growing up and one never stops maturing, so I wouldn't say I'm at the peak yet. Wikipedia may not have been as central to my life as it once was, but I still keep it around as a nice hobby to go to.

If you want to do what I did, feel free to stop by the counter-vandalism academy; I do have plans of listing myself as a trainer there someday, but at the moment I have too much on my plate to create my syllabus and my course materials.
