Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, University of South Florida, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donald Albury 23:48, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

[edit]

Please stop spamming Florida articles with promotional edits sourced by tourist blogs and other unreliable promotional sites. I urge you to read What Wikipedia is not. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:05, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

It seems like the attempt was to block a user under the name Stpetestan, but I do not know who that is. I am a new editor, and would like to know in detail If I did something wrong to avoid it from happening again, or if my account was blocked by accident instead of "Stpetestan" Supersam67 (talk) 12:52, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your edits are strikingly similar to this blocked users edits. There is also technical evidence. Regardless you are spamming. Pro-tip, if you keep spamming your links will end up on our public blacklist. Not only does this prevent posting them to Wikipedia but the blacklist is public and used by countless other websites for their spam filters. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 13:00, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
