The article Griffin de Luce has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello Sundogsakai. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Griffin de Luce, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Noformation Talk 08:59, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article as it stands would be deleted. I removed the imdb references as it is not allowed on Wikipedia.... Anybody can submit content to IMDB, therefore it is not considered reliable. Wikipedia isn't a reliable source either. Do you have any more reliable sources for de Luce? Bgwhite (talk) 23:51, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if that was you adding references to appletoday.com or not..... That isn't a valid reference as it doesn't show the de Luce is the publisher and founder. It is just a link to the frontpage of the website. Bgwhite (talk) 07:29, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Griffin de Luce has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable - references to own websites and nothing substantial

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Evaders99 (talk) 08:52, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Griffin de Luce. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. I'm not sure if the IP that removed the AFD tag was you but since you are the main contributor to the article I'm guessing it was. If not disregard, if so, please don't do it again until the discussion is closed. Noformation Talk 21:12, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't remove AfD tag.

[edit]

Please don't remove the AfD tag on Griffin de Luce. Removing the tag does not stop the deletion discussion taking place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Griffin de Luce. Bgwhite (talk) 23:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Griffin de Luce, you may be blocked from editing. Noformation Talk 03:17, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Heed this warning, if you keep breaking the rules you're going to be blocked plain and simple. One of our rules is that AFD notices stay on pages until the discussion is closed, not until the page creator deems that he's changed it sufficiently. Furthermore, removing the notice will not stop the debate from taking place and the article, if it is deemed to be worthy of deletion, will be deleted with or without the tag there. In other words, you're wasting your time and potentially getting your account in trouble. Not worth it. Noformation Talk 03:19, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
