Dear Wikipedia, This is a request to be unblocked. I was blocked because I was given instructions by an organisation call Walk Free on how to edit a Wikipedia page to update a country's profile to reflect its position with regards to slavery. What I found was the instructions were not as simple as I thought they would be (and were incorrect I think) and that lots of other people were doing this at the same time with incorrect instruction. So yes a lot of bad editing was done at once which must have been disruptive and must have felt like an act of vandalism. It was not the intention to be disruptive we just wanted to highlight the situation in a few countries. I think I also managed to undo everything that I had done when contacted by Wikipedia administrators. (I only eduitted one country and cant even remember which one it was). I would like to have the ability to edit again but will be far more careful in future about any editing I do (if any). Thanks Alan Sumonelse (talk) 13:31, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
