Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Sumanmali11, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Laure (Nepalese rapper), which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 16:02, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- I know that's a bit of a wall of text, so I want to specifically highlight this part: WP:PAY. You have to follow those rules, or you will be blocked from editing. (That's not as bad as it sounds - if you're blocked, you can become unblocked, but do be careful!) -- asilvering (talk) 16:20, 28 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit] As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Laure (Nepalese rapper), give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Sumanmali11, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sumanmali11|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. When working as a paid editor, you must disclose who is paying you and on whose behalf you are working. —C.Fred (talk) 00:09, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- I am not being compensated directly or indirectly for the edits over the internet! But having known him, I tried updating the latest information about him over here! Sumanmali11 (talk) 00:22, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- In that case you're not bound by the paid editing rules, but you do have a conflict of interest and are strongly, strongly discouraged from editing the page. Please read the Conflict of Interest Guideline - it explains how instead you can request other users to edit on your behalf. AntiDionysius (talk) 00:24, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- But just last week you described this person as your "client" - what was that about? AntiDionysius (talk) 00:26, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- I am developing a website for that person and i thought updting the digital presence will help myself to retain! Sumanmali11 (talk) 01:03, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- And in developing the website, did you meet with him? I ask because of the picture you took within the last 48 hours of him that you uploaded to Commons (File:Image-of-laure.jpg). Having that kind of access to him raises a lot of questions about the nature of your conflict of interest. —C.Fred (talk) 18:44, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes I did meet him! While uploading the picture one of the editor reverted changes saying too big picture so I captured another picture and uploaded! Sumanmali11 (talk) 23:24, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- So if you're meeting with him in person, it sounds like you have a conflict of interest and need to be very careful about editing the article about him. —C.Fred (talk) 23:08, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, What will I do is that now on I will raise a COI as mentioned in the COI documentation which can be revised by other editors as well and then can make the changes if those information are valid or not! Sumanmali11 (talk) 03:59, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
