Animal husbandry

[edit]

Hi Sully16, I'm sorry to have felt it necessary to revert your addition to Animal husbandry. I explained over there that this is a top-level article, with at least two subsidiary articles which focus more closely on the environmental issues: Environmental impact of livestock and Environmental impact of meat production. Those articles might be more suitable targets for expansion with the sort of details you were adding. The top-level article rightly has just a short paragraph on those issues, with links to the subsidiary articles for the detail; that way, we don't try to pile everything into one gigantic article. Hope this is clear, and sorry if it seemed disappointing - there is plenty of work needed on agriculture articles, as elsewhere. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:05, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
