I have reverted a number of your edits. At House of Leaves, you added a reference at the top of the article and in the footnotes, without adding any substantial information from that source to the article. Beyond that, it doesn't look like the The Modern World article you added would be considered a reliable source: there's no author by-line, so we have no details about the author's credentials. I noticed that you did the same thing at Donnie Darko. Your edits at Tigers Jaw and Circa Survive also introduced information without a proper source, though it seems innocuous enough that I haven't reverted it.

It appears that you're in a course with a focus on Wikipedia editing, so I'm sure they'll cover all this. If you get some time, read the links at the welcome message above.
