Hello there! Ah, so glad you signed up :) Some old-school Wikipedians don't use their real name, but many others do, it's just personal preference. I've been using lirazelf for years on various things, so I'm just gonna stick with it. If there's anything I can help with, just shout! Lirazelf (talk) 09:16, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Athletics / Jog Scotland

[edit]

ooh, I see that someone's already replied on the talk page, that's good! And you've approached it in exactly the right way. If no one takes the JogScotland one further, there are a few suggestions here as to next steps, especially the section "I think that my organization deserves an article on Wikipedia but none exists. What can I do?". I'd maybe dig out a few more references too - any news stories that mention you? Helps to prove notability, and give some depth.

In terms of training, I may be doing some for an organisation in Glasgow and I wonder if I could get you involved in that... Lirazelf (talk) 09:09, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Suegyford! Thank you so much for coming to the Intro to Wiki Training.

Now that we've created your userpage and learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and have a go at editing some articles. If you're not feeling bold enough to write an article straight away, why not try a small edit first, or adding a link? Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

You can't break Wikipedia, but in case you're still nervous here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Remember, if you are writing on a talk page, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!
