Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Copyright problem icon Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. The material appears to be substantially taken from: http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/05/18/cannes-film-festival-strauss-kahn-film-under-fire/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Electric Wombat (talk) 16:58, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello, I undid my own revert on that page after you did sufficiently paraphrase the source. The big thing is not to copy/paste directly, which is why the first add was deleted, but I think you now see that and know to put it in your own words. Regarding your question, every user's page has an Edit link, just like every article. This usually can be directly linked in their signature at the end of comments (just like this one, see the "talk" after my name at the end of this). You can then edit their page just like any other. Thanks, and sorry about the mis-communication. Electric Wombat (talk) 17:23, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
