Too many cooks
[edit]This is simply intended as a lighthearted observation but I can't think of anything more awkward as when there are multiple people watching a page for recurring vandalism. You inevitably end up with everyone reverting the edits at the same time, possibly to different revisions. It becomes very easy to lose track of what the last good version of a page actually is :-) --Stu Hacking talk 15:37, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Gimp
[edit]All thw info said before was that lead was affected by the thomson effect, which happens to be incorrect so i changed it back to what it should be. If u knew what the thomson effect is u'd notice my change was correct. Due to ur stupid mistake, u could have ended up with incorrect info in ur directory. How abouts u change what we put when u actually knw if its correct or not ok.
- I didn't feel that '(had a penis enlargement)' was such an informative statement in an article about the thermoelectric effect, therefore the only change I made was to revert this to the version previousto the addition of this statement. Stu Hacking talk 10:54, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Re: Protection
[edit]Similar to WP:AIV, you may request protection for an article here. Also, diamond is NOT a metal. Diamond is made up of crystalline carbon atoms and carbon is NOT a metal. - Microtony 11:30, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Clarification: The preceding comment about diamond was anonymously posted by another user. The comment is now signed. Stu Hacking talk 15:49, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Elements
[edit]In haste, I recently included Barium in a list of non metal elements when commenting an edit. This is of course incorrect. If you are here to whine about that please save your energy, I assure you I'm not interested. Please go now and use your time more constructively by removing vandalism or cleaning up wiki articles. Thankyou.
Here are a couple of alternative non metal -iums for your enjoyment:
- ununseptium
- ununoctium
