User talk:StuckMic
Welcome
[edit]Hello StuckMic, welcome to Wikipedia! I really appreciate your willingness to find a conclusion to this PATCO issue, and it is nice to have a name instead of a series of numbers to talk to! I'll respond to your note on my page, as it would be nice to keep the whole conversation in one place. One small point - when you're posting a comment on Wikipedia, just add 4 tildes (~~~~) after your note and it will automatically generate a live link back to your "talk" page, and a date stamp. No big deal, it just helps people follow who said what, and when. (More editing/question answering material is available at WP:WELCOME)Cheers,--Bookandcoffee 20:14, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- To add your comments to the conversation just look for the little "Edit" link to the right of the section title (in this case "PATCO Again Again"), but inside the actual page. Click on that and you'll be away. It's also common practice to indent your comments as needed. You do this by adding a colon to the front of the paragraph.--Bookandcoffee 21:43, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (2003)
[edit]Hi StuckMic, well I may be slow and a little cranky... but I finally found time for making some changes! Have a look at the PATCO pages, and you will see a third article has been created at Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (2003). It would still be great if you were interested in digging out documentation related to all this. Cheers,--Bookandcoffee 05:07, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Comments on talk pages
[edit]Hi StuckMic. I'm sure it was a simple misunderstanding - but editing other people's comments on talk pages (as you did on Talk:Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (2003)) is a big no-no. Please comment below the comments already on the page - in the fashion of a conversation. Cheers,--Bookandcoffee 21:12, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please don't change other people comments on talk pages. I have again reverted your changes. If you wish to contribute to the discussion - then do so in your own words. The talk page is not the same as the article page... think of it more as an area for discussion. You appear to be improving the text for use in the article, but please leave the original as is, and discuss your changes lower on the page. This helps everyone understand what is being done.--Bookandcoffee 16:48, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
