Hello, you were involved in an AfD discussion back in 2011. I was patrolling new pages and noticed the page has been recreated, I'm not sure how to compare the two to see if they're significantly different. Would you mind helping out? Chris Moore (talk) 19:25, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. URLs broken
Hello Stuart, have you noticed that Te Ara has changed their URLs, and what the DNZB template produces results in broken links? It's a real mess, and even Te Ara links internal are broken. Given that you have your finger on the pulse in Wellington, would you know who to talk to? Schwede66 19:58, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Schwede66: Thanks for that. Looks like they upgraded their Drupal and an over-zealous upgrade script removed their old remap.php. They send their thanks. All the links I've tested now work. I'm happy to pass on any that are still broken. Stuartyeates (talk) 06:21, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

Allan Hubbard article
The article on Allan Hubbard contains extensive references to South Canterbury Finance and the charges that five now three people were facing, hence I see nothing wrong in a para saying the trial has now started (if you don’t want anything on the course of the trial I will leave out the part about the application to remove the judge). The article gives the impression that nothing has happened since 2012. And I do not intend to include a running commentary on the trial. Hugo999 (talk) 05:39, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Hugo999: It's a question of WP:BALANCE. Even with the material removed too much of the article is about his downfall and events after his death. If you want coverage of this, I suggest you move most of the content to the South Canterbury Finance article and use Template:main to link the Allan_Hubbard_(businessman)#South_Canterbury_Finance to South Canterbury Finance. We have rules about the coverage of on-going court cases, see WP:BLPCRIME. Stuartyeates (talk) 06:13, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
- Just wondering how relevant BLPCRIME is, given that the "L" no longer applies? Schwede66 07:34, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
- All the content guidelines in BLP are good encyclopedia-writing and stuff we should be doing in all articles anyway. There's a whole new level of enforcement (behavioural guidelines) that kicks in for living people because of potential legal issues. Stuartyeates (talk) 07:41, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Deletion ZaapTV
Dear Stuartyeates,
You have claimed that the page ZaapTV is " Nothing obvious in google" and "Not notable appliance brand". If you type in google ZaapTv, you can see this product goes back more than 5 years ago and is sold in amazon, ebay and many independent sales websites globally. Before you saw this page today, it was there for a while and has great information of the history of the company.
There is even a commercial that was broadcast through television that on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBGkUfwGdu8
If you type just zaaptv on google you will pages and pages of the product itself and all its different version and modifications through the years.
You will be deleting a page for a product that is over 5 years old and has had over 100,000 active consumers all over the world.
I ask to please not delete the page, in return I will try to source it better.
Regards,
- I have halted the PROD and moved it to AfD at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/ZaapTV. I strongly suggest that you contribute to the discussion there if you feel the article should be kept. Stuartyeates (talk) 00:37, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Sockpuppet Investigation
Dear Stuartyeates,
May I ask how long before I found out the results of the sockpuppet investigation? And before anything is assumed - I am not interested in a "slagging" match, but if all the time I have I spent editing is of naught (and my intention is to provide input on a number of different subjects - Mahfouz and Burke's are merely to help me get to grips with Wikipedia), I would rather know sooner than later.
(In the hope of a response:) Thank you.
(And despite being somewhat ... disheartened, yet nonetheless to be polite:) Kind regards,
Craig.

Speedy deletion nomination of Mary Cecilia Maher
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Mary Cecilia Maher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. - I've made some changes. The only way I can think of to find Booth is go through all the 76 Booths in cenotaph and whittle them down. That would be WP:OR, alas, which is prohibited. Stuartyeates (talk) 03:34, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

About the redirection of the article Rajshahi City Corporation into the civil administration section at Rajshahi article at Wikipedia
I just want to know as a new contributor of Wikipedia that why the article Rajshahi City Corporation is merged to the article Rajshahi? Do you have any knowledge about that organization? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.188.169.80 (talk) 13:02, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
- Because there wasn't the sourcing for two separate articles. Stuartyeates (talk) 20:49, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
I closed this as a WP:SOFTDELETE due to lack of quorum and the author requested I restore it, which I just did. Just wanted to let you know in case you feel it's appropriate to re-nominate. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 15:50, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. I'll give the author some time to work on it before I jump in. Stuartyeates (talk) 19:38, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
Your revert
Can you kindly point to a guideline where it says "that it is not allowed to use interviews as references"? Thanks.--Mishae (talk) 00:56, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- You're welcome to use interviews as references (and indeed they're pretty much the idea source for info in orientation and identity), but they don't count towards WP:GNG. Stuartyeates (talk) 00:59, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- O.K. Here is what I did. I removed the primary and third party statement, and I left primary source intact. Would you agree that this will be a better tag? Like honestly, magazines, newspapers are all RS, why confuse the other editors into believing that they are primary?--Mishae (talk) 01:11, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- Update: I added another ref to Vanessa Kerry so I hope it will satisfy WP:GNG now?--Mishae (talk) 01:29, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- Still confused though. What's the point of using interviews if they don't count toward GNG? Like, you sound double sided. On one hand you say: "You are welcome to use them" and that "they are ideal source", and at the same time you say that "they don't count towards GNG"? Can you elaborate on that one, please?--Mishae (talk) 01:36, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

- I've taken this to Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Vanessa_Kerry, where there will be people who understand more of the context of this. Stuartyeates (talk) 07:37, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Blatant solicitation
I noticed that that you commented on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ainda Existe Uma Cruz. The same band has released several other albums and the same editor created the articles. I have investigated and discovered that several do not appear to meet WP:NALBUMS. If you get a chance, could you please look at some of them?

They were all previously deleted via a PROD and the editor requested that they be restored, but gave no reason for restoring them and has not made any effort to improve them since they were undeleted. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:11, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- The thing that's stopping me from !vote redirect on all of those is that fact that they have interwiki links. I'm aware it's not policy, but part of my attempt to encourage non-english wikis is to go easy on articles with interwiki links. However, I may get come across them when I work through the backlog at AfD. Stuartyeates (talk) 02:14, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Seventy Mile Bush, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Napier and Foxton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Water safety listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Water safety. Since you had some involvement with the Water safety redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Brycehughes (talk) 18:42, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Suggestions for tone on Nabil Sabio Azadi
Hi there!
Thank you for your message on my Talk Page. I was not sure if I am meant to reply there or on yours. I do not have an official affiliation with the individual in Nabil Sabio Azadi but I have spoken to those affiliated with the artist on social media channels. Can I ask if you had any constructive criticism regarding the tone of the page or if you felt there was superfluous information or a self-promotional slant (NPOV problems)? I spent some free time writing this article and tried to avoid everything mentioned on the NPOV page. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks! Eadyth (talk) 21:50, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
