Proposed deletion of Second Stroke

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Second Stroke, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Difference of Opinion (Overload) has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/overloadmetal) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Back on Track (Overload) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to The Dark Side Of Ambition. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

[edit]

As written, none of the Overlord-related articles you started establish notability for either the band or its music. Please improve these articles so they meet the criteria outlined in Wikipedia:Notability (music) or Wikipedia:Notability, then remove the "dated prod" tags. If you remove the "dated prod" tag without showing why these bands are notable, I or another editor will probably nominate them for deletion. After a discussion period, they will likely be deleted unless notability can be shown. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 00:20, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for your recent improvements to the Overload (Swedish metalband)-related articles. However, neither the article for the band nor the articles for the albums establish sufficient notability to meet Wikipedia's standards. See WP:Notability and WP:Notability (music) for specific criteria that separates a truly notable music group from a less-than-notable one. Of Overlord or any of its albums are truly notable, the articles need to be improved to make it clear. Those articles that describe non-notable albums should be deleted. If the band is not notable by Wikipedia standards, then its article should be deleted. Therefore, if the articles are not improved to show notability within a couple of days, I will nominate them for deletion through the WP:Articles for deletion process. This process lasts several days, during which time you and other editors will have an opportunity to improve the articles enough that notability is established and I can withdraw the nominations in good conscience. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 00:14, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Difference of Opinion (album)

[edit]

The article Difference of Opinion (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NALBUMS

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of The Procession of Tartaros for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Procession of Tartaros is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Procession of Tartaros until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:34, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
