Seyed Mohammad Marandi

[edit]

You have already vandalized the above-mentioned article twice, perhaps for personal reasons. The sources cited in this article meet the qualifications of Wikipedia, and they have been reviewed by professional editors. If you have any objection to the article's content, cite your sources to the contrary. If not, do not vandalize the article, or the administrator will be notified of your activities, and your Wikipedia account will be closed. Timelesstune (talk) 7:55, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Reza Parchizadeh was a student at University of Tehran and he never taught or worked there. I was a student at the university and I know.

You reverted 5 of my edits. Please provide a reason for each revert. Sean.hoyland - talk 18:13, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Seyed Mohammad Marandi, you may be blocked from editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timelesstune (talkcontribs) 20:58, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Seyed Mohammad Marandi, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Seyed Mohammad Marandi. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:21, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Seyed Mohammad Marandi. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:42, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • The edit-warring on Seyed Mohammad Marandi has been going on way too long, and you simply must stop. Even if you are firmly convinced you are right, edit-warring is not acceptable and just gets you blocked - as you have now discovered after ignoring my warning, above. You should discuss your dispute on the article Talk page and seek consensus, and if that is not successful, please see WP:DR for help with resolution of the dispute. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:43, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite block

[edit]

Please note that I have increased your block to indefinite, due to your repeated violation of Wikiedia's prohibition of outing, which you were warned about at User talk:Sean.hoyland#Seyed Mohammad Marandi. If you wish to be unblocked, we will need to see that you clearly understand why this is wrong and we would need a believable commitment that you will not repeat it. But if you repeat the outing, your Talk page access is very likely to be revoked -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:30, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
