Removal of good content is vandalism

[edit]

Hi, your recent removal of a chunk of content in OpenGL (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1136221948) does not appear constructive and was restored. Note that if you don't like tone or place of some content (as you say in the description), you are not free to remove it, as long as the content is good by Wikipedia standards. For details on what can and cannot be removed, please refer to WP:CRV, WP:ROWN, WP:RV and respect these guidelines. Keep in mind that removal of good content is vandalism. 188.66.32.145 (talk) 12:46, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As someone else already said, the section wasn't relevant. I'd recommend you read the very articles you've linked, because it seems in this situation that you're the vandal. StigmaOfTruth (talk) 01:42, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Are you asking to be blocked? 217.118.83.239 (talk) 12:43, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Wikilawyering: Using the rules in a manner to achieve a goal other than compliance with the rule (for example, to "win" an editing dispute) is frowned upon by the Wikipedia community.
If you want to make the point that OpenGL is on its way out then put it into words, but a list of random facts, of which only three or four are relevant, does not a section make. StigmaOfTruth (talk) 14:07, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not trying to make any point, only reverted your vandalism. And don't even try appealing to Wikipedia community, as with such in-your-face insult and zero respect to above-mentioned guidelines, others' work and WP:CIV, you hardly belong here. 188.66.33.184 (talk) 18:15, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And you do? Someone who changes their IP every other time they edit anything and threatens everyone to try to get their way?
From WP:SEALION: The requirement to assume good faith is not an excuse for uncooperative behavior.
I think I'll call your bluff. Go ahead and try to get me banned. Either that or go away. I'm done listening to you. StigmaOfTruth (talk) 21:41, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
