Speedy deletion nomination of Boing (Turkey)

[edit]

Hello Stick lizard 2,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Boing (Turkey) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 16:19, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Reid furniture requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Comments Suggestion

[edit]

Hi Stick lizard 2. You have ordered and requested several times that i and others stop editing your pages. There is a small problem with that, in that you do not own any pages here, in fact, once you press the SAVE button you are explicitly ending all claim you have to owning whatever you have written. There are a lot of things to learn, here at Wikipedia, and i'd really like to suggest you spend a little time trying to learn some of them. To that end, to help you, i'll put a welcome template on this page in a moment; it has a lot of links on it which i believe would repay your attention. If i can help you in any way, please ask, here (i watch this page) or on my talk page. If, however, you try and order me around, as you did that last time you visited my talk page, i will not be willing to help. Thanks. Happy days, LindsayHello 19:19, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing

[edit]

Hi Stick lizard 2. I'm sorry, i really am, but i'm having to revert you again, this time at List of television stations in the United Kingdom, where you have broken the formatting of wikilinks, and again put in the addition of BBC3, which i'm pretty sure i've either removed myself or seen someone else remove after you have added it places. Please, please, take a look at some of the links in the welcome message i put on this page a few days ago, a few lines up. There is so much you could do here, but i'm afraid that you will end up getting yourself blocked (which i believe has already happened once) if you continue down the path you seem to be intent on. Experiment, for sure, in the right place. Learn how to edit. Learn how this place works. And definitely understand that we are a collaborative community, and you must do things the way we do them. I'm afraid, now, i'm going to go look at others of your contributions, and i may have to revert you there; if i do, i may well not let you know, as i don't want to be a nagging voice on this page. Happy days, LindsayHello 14:49, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Silgo Retail Park, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Costa. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Stick lizard 2. I'm afraid i have reverted one of your edits again: When you took out the phrase "of Parliament" in BBC Choice, what you left did not make proper sense ("the other proposals gained the approval and the new channels went on air" has some meaning lost), so i have put back the needed phrase. I'm so glad you are so eager to help, but i am rather concerned that you don't really seem to know what your doing, but are merely trying different edits to see what can be done. I'm pretty sure that the sandpit play area has been pointed out to you, possibly by me earlier on this page; i urge you to make your tests there, or in your own at User:Stick lizard 2/sandbox, where you can try things out to your heart's content, and see if the grammar and flow of language is correct, and the formatting is right, without damaging the encyclopaedia. As always, feel free to ask if you need any help ~ though the demands on my talk page may not be the best way to get it! Happy days, LindsayHello 08:34, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Stick lizard 2. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Clarehall Retail Park, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page

  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
