Recent Unexplained Edits to Ann-Marie Gallagher

[edit]

Please explain your deletion of three books from the Ann-Marie Gallagher article, the existence of three children, and a few credits which were properly cited. Did she not contribute to these books? Does she not have three children. And what is encyclopedic about her cats and dog? This is an encyclopedia article, not a MySpace listing. Rosencomet (talk) 15:22, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The edits were done at the request of Ann-Marie herself. I am her partner. She did not know that there was an entry for her and asked me to remove the errors. The books that she did not contribute to and does not want to be associated with were the ones removed. She does not live with her three children, they are all grown up and live with their own partners. I don't know who you are but I think Ann-Marie and myself are more qualified to to write an entry for her.

Actually, that statement shows you have little understanding of Wikipedia. It is generally frowned upon for people to write articles about themselves, as I have learned from hard experience. Also, being an encyclopedia article and not a valentine, it is meant to contain all notable data, not just the facts the subject "wants to be associated with". Did she co-write these books or not? If she did, they belong here, and if not they don't.
Also, the fact that she has three children is encyclopedic; the fact that she has four cats and a border collie is not. Rosencomet (talk) 20:28, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She did not write the books that I deleted from the article. I'm not sure where you got the information from that she did. She knows what books she did or did not write. Her children are still her children but as I explained they no longer live with her being adults with their own partners and children. She did not write the article herself I corrected it at her request in order to excise innacuracies.
