[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Untitled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. We generally don't capitalize names of seasons unless they're personified (MOS:CAPS). Quid Est Squid (talk) 18:12, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Untitled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read MOS:CAPS; we don't generally capitalize the names of seasons. Frank Cosgrove (Law & Order) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Frank Cosgrove (Law & Order), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Sagotreespirit (talk) 01:04, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
Problems with upload of File:Screenshot 2022-09-13 5.20.14 PM.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Screenshot 2022-09-13 5.20.14 PM.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

File source problem with File:Screenshot 2022-09-13 5.20.14 PM.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Screenshot 2022-09-13 5.20.14 PM.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Image copyright and use
[edit]This is just to alert you to the fact that ALL images are considered as having a copyright that prevents Wikipedia from using and hosting any particular image UNLESS there is an obvious release, either in the form of a recognised licence (eg., Creative Commons) or by wording such as Copyleft or Public Domain. I cannot see anything that allows use of Simons'-produced images/videos in that they carry such a release. This is International Copyright Law. As a novice I don't expect you to know this, but please do not upload any more images unless an obvious copyright-release annotation is present at source.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 11:38, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oh Sorry as you know im new to this and I have went to the image and added a source and annotation to let people know where it comes from Stevie extreme (talk) 12:18, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- I would also like to know how I can source the image on the main page Stevie extreme (talk) 13:49, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- In short, you are not allowed to take images from the internet without sufficient licence or words to the effect that the image has been donated to the public for anyone to use being present (at the source URL). I've created a Talk page for the image; an administrator in due course will look at the image, it's use and the image Talk to decide if what you've added is acceptable. You don't need to do anything at the article TommyInnit.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 15:20, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ok Thank you In the future I will be more careful on how I handle images Stevie extreme (talk) 15:41, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- I've now added a different template to the image, to account for the details you added and to replace the maintenance template you deleted in this change. Please do not delete this new template; it has to stay in place until an administrator looks over the situation.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 15:34, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

Images
[edit]I left you a note in a separate section above. You've continued to upload what I surmise to be copyrighted images. I don't think you should be displaying Sonic, which would be copyrighted to Sega, although I see you've taken from (probably) a bona fide licensee. ALL images are copyrighted unless there is a specific release or recognised license.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 19:20, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- I was using it for my user page is that okay? Stevie extreme (talk) 21:05, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- No, not OK. Wikipedia, and it's sister project Wikimedia Commons (a repository of images and other media files) have to comply with international copyright law, as the pages are publicly visible. To upload a pic of Sonic under "own work" is a lie. Just because you right-clicked it then saved it then uploaded it doesn't make it your work. It is someone else's intellectual property.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:20, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I put it under own work I thought I had put it under not my own work if thats the case I will delete it Stevie extreme (talk) 23:25, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Pilaz. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ludwig Ahgren, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Pilaz (talk) 00:30, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
