A tag has been placed on Flying Pig Productions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article Flying Pig Productions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A non notable production company

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Xtzou (Talk) 15:07, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia policies on notability

[edit]

For example, Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). Please don't take the page deletion personally. Rather, figure out how you can write a page that will be notable and based on reliable sources for verifying. Xtzou (Talk) 15:36, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry that was what I was in the process of doing. I now find myself incredibly frustrated, the whole process took about fifteen minutes without me getting a chance to remove the speedy deletion tag. I now do not know how to get this page back, as the label is important to us, I was not even given a chance to contest this deletion. I have read the article, we are a noteworthy company, according to the guidelines you have, and had I been allowed to finish this article I could have demonstrated that.

How do I contact the administrator to get the page title restored so I can start again? I am very upset and frankly very disilluysioned with Wikipedia at the moment. Steverance (talk) 15:44, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Obvious conflict of interest

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Flying Pig Productions, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You yourself should probably not be editing the article itself any more. If there are problems, then notify us of them by posting a note on the talk page of the article, rather than editing the article itself. Also, fully disclose on the talk page who you are and how your COI comes about. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:02, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Pig black outline.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 00:00, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
