Christmas

[edit]

Um, if you read my post you'd have seen that I was referring to the Christmas controversy section and how it focuses too much on the so-called modern secularization of Christmas, instead of its hostorical roots as such.maybe that wasn't clear, but I think thats a relevant reason to have the discussion. Be polite

[edit]

You are incredibly rude. You insult my intelligence, then laugh at my edits and call them vandalism, then say "sorry if I seem rude". Haha! Yeah. That's usually classified as rudeness. Usually it's better to be polite at the beginning of a discussion, and then let them respond, rather than getting things all heated and starting off on the wrong foot. Please read some of wikipedia's ettiquette rules or risk having a rough stay and a wealth of rocky relations on the wiki. a good place to start would be in assuming good faith. Thanks, Wrad (talk) 19:50, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to come off as rude, but your very statement "Christmas is the celebration of the coming of the winter solstice" appeared to be uneducated vandalism, as the winter solstice falls between Dec. 20 and 23, and Christmas is on December 25. The very sentence is impossible.—Steven Evens (talk) 19:54, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Look before you leap. Then look again, then assume the best. I would have responded well to a polite conversation. I wish we could have done that. Wrad (talk) 19:55, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you're right. I shouldn't have assumed. I've just run into a lot of vandalists recently, especially at the Christmas page during Christmas. My apologies and a merry Christmas.—Steven Evens (talk) 20:02, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, no problem. Wrad (talk) 20:03, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Future Shop

[edit]

Check your facts - Future Shop stores operate as a division of Best Buy Canada Ltd which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Corporations Bobanni (talk) 00:36, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...Meaning that Future Shop is wholly owned by Best Buy Corporation. I don't see the issue? Future Shop is not owned by Best Buy Canada, but by Best Buy Corporation (located in USA).—Steven Evens (talk) 00:39, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the above article. I have reviewed your other contributions, which otherwise appear to contribute to improving the encyclopedia, and am surprised you have seen fit to vandalise Wikipedia by creating an attack page. It would really be for the best if you did not repeat this episode. LessHeard vanU (talk) 11:01, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, it actually wasn't me. I had the computer on Wikipedia under my username, and my brother did the vadalism. I apologize.. — Steven Evens (contribs) 18:30, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Heath Ledger

[edit]

[1] has the look and feel of vandalism. Such a controversial suggestion MUST have a citation. —Moondyne 12:07, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

July 2009

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Deaths in 2009. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 05:02, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
