Articles for deletion nomination of Myka, Relocate
[edit]I have nominated Myka, Relocate, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Myka, Relocate. Speedy deletion nomination of Myka, Relocate
[edit]A tag has been placed on Myka, Relocate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Talk:Bill Hamilton (musician) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Watchlist
[edit]Hello Stevedietrich. It's the number of bytes that the size of the page has increased or decreased as a result of the edit. You can read more at WP:WATCHLIST#How to read a watchlist. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 23:12, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
{{helpme}}
I was wondering what the numbers after my watchlist stuff was. for examle after something on the list it says in green (+765) or something like that.
- That is the number of bytes changed (green is stuff was added in the article and red was stuff was taken away). The larger the number, the more stuff added/removed. fetchcomms☛ 23:14, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
thank you very much!
- (e/c) The green numbers are the numbers of net bytes added on and edit and the red are the net decrease in bytes. I find they clutter my vision so I them and have them turned off. You can too by adding to User:Stevedietrich/monobook.css:
.mw-plusminus-pos {color: black;} .mw-plusminus-neg {color: black;} .mw-plusminus-null {color: black;}
- By the way, new sections are usually placed underneath previous sections, i.e. your helpme request would normally be placed at the bottom of the page. I thought you'd want to know. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:22, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi Stevedietrich. I noticed you created an RfA page some time ago. I was wondering as to what the status of that RfA might be. Please let me know if you still intend to run for adminship with that RfA; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete it for you in about a week or so from today. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 00:50, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well, the request needs to be formally submitted for review...but that doesn't seem to have ever happened. Would you like me to do that for you? -FASTILY (TALK) 22:48, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've transcluded your RfA. You will be able to see it at WP:RFA#Stevedietrich. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 23:38, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Your RfA
[edit]Hey there. I just wanted to let you know that I've closed your Request for Adminship early because it was more-or-less assured of not passing. While I don't think anybody doubted your suitability or competences, your experience wiki-side is rather light. Please come back in several months after you've got quite a bit more editing time under your belt, and feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or comments. Cheers, –Juliancolton | Talk 03:09, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I've declined this speedy. Bearian (talk) 19:18, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

The article Decade (Live at the El Mocambo) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Might be notable one day, but it lacks coverage in 3rd party sources today. WP:CRYSTAL.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 17:12, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Myself Is Less Than Letting Go
[edit]A tag has been placed on Myself Is Less Than Letting Go requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. New Underoath album
[edit]Hello! I notice you have created several articles for the upcoming Underoath album. Unfortunately, the album does not yet meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline just yet. In fact, there is currently an on going discussion at Talk:Underoath#Fifth album title as to what the article should be titled when it does meet these guidelines. You are welcome to edit the article once there are enough sources to write a reasonably detailed article, but until then please refrain from creating more articles on this subject. For further reading on album notability, see WP:HAMMERTIME and WP:NMG#Albums, singles and songs. Thanks! Fezmar9 (talk) 18:55, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- No harm done! Just please review the links I provided for future reference. Also, do you make use of your watchlist? It allows you to see the last edit performed on all of the articles you wish to monitor. So when I left a comment about redirecting Ø (Disambiguation) to Underoath due to the lack of notability in the subject line of my edit, that would have appeared on your watchlist. It's a completely optional, but very useful, tool available to anyone with an account! Fezmar9 (talk) 23:21, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Counterparts (band), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Hardcore and Silverstein (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
