Saved By The Bell

[edit]

Regarding Saved by the Bell, Tori Spelling's character is just as "recurring" as the two yo bring up, and Tori Spelling's character Violet is not mentioned in the "Characters section". The fact that the then-unknown Spelling was on the show is mentioned in the trivia, and if you wanted to mention then-unknown (fairly) Leah Remini (sp) in the same trivia comment, I don't see a problem with that. Otherwise, Leon is just a 5-episode character, no more prominent than Zack's Dad, or Mr. Tuttle or other recurring characers. Tori and Max were both full cast members in the title credits of over a dozen episodes each. The Beach episodes are virtually identical to the tv-movies (hawaii and vegas - each of which has been broken down to four episodes for syndication vs. the five beach shows - the characters like Kelly's uncle or the bellhop from those two films certainly don't merit mention for their roles in two hours of SBTB.) I understand that he was an authority figure in those episodes, and thus "is the equivilant of" Mr. Belding only in that he's the authority figure, but it's only in 5 episodes out of a series of almost 90 seems inconsequential. There's also the 2-episode Xmas set with the homeless man and his daughter. That one takes place outside of the school and perhaps the authority figure is the Storeowner (Mr. Moody)... but he certainly doesn't need a mention. Anyone who watches a beach episode should immediately understand that Leon is their boss. If anything should be mentioned about the Beach shows, it's that they exist at all, which wouldn't belong in the Character section. You could mention the 5-episode arc in a trivia note, but to me a short span of 5 eps is nothig more than trivia - not a fundamental part of the series like Max and Tori were for many episodes. Proposed deletion of Ross Zapin

[edit]

The article Ross Zapin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced BLP that does not show encyclopedic notability.

I have nominated List of people in Playboy 1990–1999 by birthplace, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of people in Playboy 1990–1999 by birthplace. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. MBisanz talk 07:03, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Stephen's black friend! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
