Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Stefan Udrea! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Ryan 11:16, July 31, 2005 (UTC)

Don't worry. Big edits, small edits. All are welcome and all are appreciated. Do what you can. Acetic Acid 23:28, August 17, 2005 (UTC)

More welcome

Salutari, dom'le! Sper ca te simti ca acasa pana acum.

And several very tiny remarks. First, one should use an edit summary, especially for big edits, but also would be good for minor edits. Also, it is good to put a space after comma and period (but not before), and there is no need to use <p> and </p>, just leave exactly one blanck line between paragraphs.

Hi there, I saw the note you left on the talk page of Australopithecus afarensis. Do you need some help with adding references? Katherine (talk) 12:57, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:06, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
