Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. sea floor methane

[edit]

FYI.... besides grammar (which I mentioned in my edit summary), sea floor methane is internal to the climate system. You added it under "External forcings - other mechanisms". Remember that the climate system includes the lithosphere, which includes all of the sea floor depths known to harbor the worrisome methane stores. And it includes the biosphere, which likely produced much of the methane itself. Thanks for your interest in the article. I hope you try again! [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Syria, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Adra. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:29, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Updating the Johnson & Johnson article

[edit]

Hello Steelechloe817 I noticed you added content about Covid-19 on the J&J Wikipedia article. I have COI with the company and am working on updating the Early History of the company, until about 1942. The current article is deficient of content. Since I am familiar with the subject and I have COI, If I present content and verifiable secondary sources, would you be open to collaborating? What are your thoughts on this?--Chefmikesf (talk) 21:28, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Radovicdarko538, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
