Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dolph Ziggler, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Like I said: removing sourced information based on your own subjective opinion that the source is wrong is not happening. Stop or you will be blocked. NiciVampireHeart 15:51, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
I have stated reasons for my removal of sourced information in the talk page of the article. I think they are valid enough. Feel free to contact a higher authority on this matter. Starship.paint (talk) 08:10, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

I took a look at the article, and I have to admit that I'm not sure I see the problem. From what I gather, you don't want the Jumping Russian Legsweep referred to as the Zig-Zag. Nici also doesn't want the Jumping Russian Legsweep referred to as the Zig-Zag. The article does not refer to the Jumping Russian Legsweep as the Zig-Zag. I'm not sure that I have anything to add there.
I'm probably not the best one to ask. While I enjoy working on professional wrestling articles from the mid-1990s, I don't watch wrestling, and I have never seen Dolph Ziggler. Perhaps the WT:PW page, if you still have a concern? I'll freely admit that I have known Nici for a while and trust her judgment, as she has done extensive work on the article, has raised it to GA status along with all of the other Spirit Squad articles, has a strong understanding of Wikipedia policies, is somewhat of an expert in this field, and avoids conflict when possible. Sorry I can't be of more help. GaryColemanFan (talk) 18:12, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Edit help
Starship, please provide edit summaries for your edits, and consider using "preview", so you don't have to make a lot of small edits that clog up the article history. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 14:52, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Zig Zag conflict
FYI, I've tried to make that change to the Zig Zag a long time ago, but there are some editors who will just revert every change they disagree with, as if they own the article. Ultimately, I found it was just too much of an uphill battle, because I don't have an established reputation/network on Wikipedia and, due to the three revert rule, the math works out such that the pre-existing edit will remain. To be fair, I think the other editors mean well, but they're just following the rules of Wikipedia too closely to the point where they're doing more harm than good. I just think it's a little ridiculous that they refuse to think for themselves and look at the evidence, while hold stubbornly to this thought while there is no source that states there are two or more distinct moves. Anyway, I wish you good luck in pursuing these changes and I'll try to do what I can to help. -WikiFew (talk) 04:51, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. I actually provided video evidence - to no avail. Good to see someone who has flexibility on here. I'd be counting on your support if this issue rises again. Starship.paint (talk) 11:32, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Ryder
My apologies, I was correcting the moves that had been taken away, and that was caught in the cross fire. It's re-instated now. Tony2Times (talk) 13:57, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- On the basis that he's not interacted with Kofi since and didn't appear for another month with any relation to that storyline, I find just listing an appearance on Raw unnotable. Also I'm not keen on noting face turns and heel turns, especially when it's too early to tell. Do you remember CM Punk's "face turn" when he was on commentary before he took control of Nexus and various other times people haven't turned, they've just done something for the sake of doing something. The only reason I deem his appearance on NXT noteable is because he interacted with a former rookie, otherwise I wouldn't have left it there. Tony2Times (talk) 10:02, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
The point of listing the match with Kofi isn't actually the interaction with Kofi, but that it took 6 months for Ryder to appear on Raw in 2011. I don't remember CM Punk's turn, he's always been heel to me. But I'm pretty sure Ryder's face now. Facing McIntyre, teaming with Santino, fighting Cole on Raw - those are the signs that he's a face. Also if you would look at http://www.pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/WWE_News_3/article_51524.shtml Ryder joined other faces Bourne and Santino in saving Cena in post-Raw events, that itself should show that he's face already.; I still don't see how his appearance on NXT is notable, he just beat his old rookie and left. RE: Roaring elbow
Thanks a lot for your message. Actually, using "technical" names is way better than using publicized or alternative names. Also, in the description you added for the "roaring elbow", you didn't make it clear whether it's "back elbow" or "elbow smash" - nevertheless, both variation exist; and the discus elbow smash variation is the most noticeable and most used rather than the back elbow. Anyhow, I added both variations, and under the "discus elbow smash", I added the alternative name which is the "roaring elbow", just to have a diplomatic solution.
Also, except for maybe the G.T.S., the Gory Bomb, Shining Wizard, German suplex etc., those are their real technical names - but they were alternatively named to make their "more detailed" technical names even easier. For example, the belly-to-belly suplex is a long name, so they were shortened to German suplex etc. - also, not mentioning that there are other variations of the belly-to-belly suplex (for example, the leg hook belly-to-belly and much more). The Shining Wizard (or the shining wizard) is described as a "step-up knee smash/enzuigiri/dropkick" to a kneeling opponent. So what do you think, will the technical name and heading posted in the Wikipedia page be "step-up knee smash to a kneeling opponent"? The innovater (The Great Muta) renamed the technical name itself (not other wrestlers who might use the shining wizard in a another name) as Shining Wizard - so if he names the shining wizard "X", then it will be described as "shining wizard", not "step-up knee [..]".
I really like your point of view of the moves naming, and I added both variations and their alternative maneuvers beneath.
EDIT: I think that the professional wrestling attacks' page, the roaring elbow heading used to be there and was deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Francis Marks (talk • contribs) 14:25, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

You totally changed the purpose of the talk; anyhow, there are a lot of dead links in many pages due link-changing. Also, I never change a heading's title except if I was the one who added it. Also, I think there's an issue with Wikipedia in which the section I edit ends up being removed after I've edited it. If you can help us changing any links from #Roaring elbow to #Discus elbow smash, then you would help a lot; and remember not to change the shown name, only the link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Francis Marks (talk • contribs) 11:59, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
