Tinley Park Metra Stations

[edit]

Unfortunatley, I don't have any info on either the 80th Avenue Station, or the other Tinley Park station other than what I've read on the web. But if you can get a photo of the main Tinley Park station, I suggest you post it here. ----DanTD (talk) 17:50, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other Metra Stations

[edit]
You apparently know the Chicago Metropolitan Area better than I do, so maybe you can answer a question for me; Is the Burr Oak Metra Electric station in Blue Island, or Calumet Park? ----DanTD (talk) 17:53, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Metra's website just gives the street address and the branch it was on. It doesn't say which town it's in, and the Yahoo Map they provide doesn't give that much of a distinction. But if you say it's in Blue Island, I'll take your word for it. ----DanTD (talk) 20:49, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Wolf Road and Illinois Route 64

[edit]

Somebody should mention that to Metra, because that was where I got that info. ----DanTD (talk) 21:36, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CHICAGO survey

[edit]

WP:CHICAGO

[edit]

Thanks for registering at Wikipedia:WikiProject Chicago/members. You may want to get involved in the Wikipedia:Meetup/Chicago 3. Also, be advised that the project is now trying to keep all the project's WP:PR, WP:FAC, WP:FAR, WP:GAR, WP:GAC WP:FLC, WP:FLRC, WP:FTC, WP:FPOC, WP:FPC, and WP:AFD discussion pages in one location at the new Wikipedia:WikiProject Chicago/Review page. Please help add any discussion you are aware of at this location.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 17:10, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CHICAGO leadership

[edit]

This month you have indicated new or continuing interest in WP:CHICAGO as either an active or semi-active member. The response to the project membership survey was strong enough that we should attempt to organize it in a more fully functional way. Please sign up at Wikipedia:CHICAGO/leadership if you would be willing to serve as a leader of the project from September 1, 2008 to February 28, 2009. The various leadership responsibilities are listed there. The roles will be somewhat similar to the roles of Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Coordinators. We are a less mature and developed project than WP:MILHIST however, so our division of roles will be slightly different. Please respond by the 23rd.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 18:57, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Top-importance Chicago articles

[edit]

For the rest of this month we are looking for more candidates to be promoted to Category:Top-importance Chicago articles. We are hoping to bring the list of category members to a total of 50. Either you have participated in past votes and discussions or you have recently signed up to be a part of WP:CHICAGO. In either case, please come visit Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chicago/Assessment where we are determining who to add to the September 1st ballot. Some candidate debates have lingered, but there are many new ones from the project's top 50 according to the Wikipedia:Release Version 0.7. Help us determine which pages to add to the ballot.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 04:13, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your status has been changed to inactive at Wikipedia:WikiProject Chicago/members since you did not respond to our confirmation of active status request. If this is an error please come update your status. Also feel free to come vote at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Chicago/Assessment#Current_Top-importance_Candidates for our next Category:Top-importance Chicago articles. Voting continues until September 10 and nominations/discussions are ongoing for future ballot candidates at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chicago/Assessment.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 02:12, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
