[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tedallen.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShadowHalo 05:10, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Georgia Moffett

[edit]

Hi, I reverted your unexplained revert of the "never spoken to press" lines in Georgia Moffett - the lines are unsupported opinions and you need to give sourced reasons for including them. You also need to give reasons for edit changes. Please discuss at the talk page if you disagree. Thanks. Jamesinderbyshire (talk) 07:49, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I reversed your "correction" of my correction regarding Georgia Moffett's son's name as a) the birth record on Ancestry states that his name was recorded as Ty and b) my brother is a close friend of Georgia and has informed me that the much-reported name Tyler is incorrect. My apologies for not adding a source the first time I made the change. Gwdihŵ (talk) 21:29, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Playhouse Presents, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tom Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Moffett name

[edit]

What's your source for the assertion that his name is "Tyler"? The only source that's been in the article (until recently) has it as "Ty". Thanks.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 22:11, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Moffett and her parents have given many dozens (if not hundreds) of print and TV interviews stating that the child's name is Tyler, it's always, always been reported as Tyler, everywhere. It's never been listed as Ty before. This is literally the first time anyone's suggested that his name is not Tyler. Just do a Google search or look at the Daily Mail site or her approved fansite, every single article and website says Tyler. The Ancestry.com link states that a Ty Peter Moffett or Ty Peter Martin-Moffett (both names are listed on the site) was born in Hammersmith in May 2002, but Georgia's son was born in March, and where does 'Martin-Moffett' come from? I have heard through my own connections that he has always gone by Ty and that she may have changed his name legally to Ty when she changed his surname by deed poll last year, but there seems no doubt that his legal birth name is Tyler. This is utterly bizarre. Unfortunately Nexis is down right now or I'd post a bunch of articles. Starhunterfan (talk) 22:20, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There are no records for a Tyler Moffett in the right place at the right time. There are some in 2003, but they're in Lancashire. As for the date of birth, Ancestry only states the date of registration of the birth, which can be up to six weeks later (this is the legal limit, unless one wants to pay a fine). The birth of my own great-grandfather, Sydney S Evans, was registered six weeks after the actual event. As for "Martin-Moffett", all I can say is that this *may* indicate the surname of Ty's natural father, since everything else matches the other record. I would like to see the articles mentioned to see if Georgia unequivocally states what her son's name is, or whether it's something that could have been changed or assumed by the writer of the article. If you could post some links, I'd appreciate that. What I will say is that my source is *very* close to Georgia herself, and has stated to me that it was stated to him, by her, that the short form of her son's name is the one he was registered with. I'd rather not divulge too much out of a desire to protect those involved - I just wanted to set the record straight. Gwdihŵ (talk) 00:30, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited James Graham (playwright), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Finding Neverland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
