The article was originally created by an editor with a name that suggested an affiliation with the subject. A while ago, another editor, also with a name that suggested an affiliation with the subject, removed a large section of unreferenced text that was in violation of WP:BLP anyway (basically blanking the page). The edits were reverted but the unreferenced material was (quite rightly) later removed anyway. I have since rewritten the article, with references, and the problematic material (original and subsequently removed stuff) no longer appears in the article. I have therefore removed the COI tag as it does not relate to the current text of the article - a suggestion that the current version might involve COI editing is therefore incorrect. I thought the tag removal deserved an explanation. Stalwart11103:07, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As much as I am a fan of Villemin's skateboarding, I do not believe he meets the notability criteria for Wikipedia; especially when other skateboarders, such as Cooper Wilt and Jason Dill, and companies such as Cliche, do not have articles. I am inserting a notability tag and have also removed him from the Chocolate roster, as he left the company quite a while ago and has been with Cliche for a considerable amount of time.--Soulparadox (talk) 05:04, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I couldn't confirm he had left one to join the other and suspected he was a member of both, but that makes sense! As for notability - I agree that others might be more notable, but surely the solution is to create those (which I think we have proven we have the capacity to do) rather than delete this one? I am mostly in agreement with the above-mentioned comments and my only concern is that Villemin has not yet attained professional status and has not even filmed a full part for a major video production, so it seems premature to develop this article any further. However, is it possible to "hide" the article and revive it at a later stage?--Soulparadox (talk) 15:01, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
