Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Stadepell, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi. I noticed you added several links to journal articles in your sandbox that are routed through your university's proxy server - one, for example, has a url that includes search.proquest.com.ezproxy.ltu.edu while another includes link.springer.com.ezproxy.ltu.edu. I just wanted to let you know that while these links are accessible to you, they won't be accessible to anyone who isn't logged into your university's website. When you get around to actually drafting your contributions, I would recommend using the DOI for the article, and plugging it into the Cite tool (as was outlined in the Training module). Thanks. Feedback request

[edit]

Hi. I'm not quite sure what you're asking me to review. Can you be more specific - which portion of the text are you asking me to look at? What article are you planning to change? Which part of the text is your proposed addition? Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:35, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Given your lack of response to my previous comment, I'm not quite sure how you want me to proceed. One thing though - you should have received a hardcopy of the Editing Wikipedia brochure from your instructor, but just in case I linked to the pdf version. Please pay careful attention to pages 7-9. Thanks for the clarification. Please review my previous comments; it looks like you haven’t addressed those yet, which I need you to do before I can give you additional feedback.
