Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

This applies to infoboxes, too.

Thanks, and my best wishes.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Hector Maldonado, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to contain material copied from http://www.daddario.com/DaddarioArtistDetails.Page?ActiveID=3777&ArtistId=42550, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Hector Maldonado saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.

Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! — Paul A (talk) 16:01, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your attempt to deal with the issue, but now that the problem exists it can't be solved as easily as removing the problem text from one version of the article. (For one thing, all the old versions of the article will still be visible to anyone who clicks on the article history link, with the problem text in place.)

While waiting for one of Wikipedia's copyright team to deal with the situation thoroughly, please observe the notice that says Do not restore or edit the blanked content on this page until the issue is resolved by an administrator, copyright clerk or OTRS agent. Thank you. — Paul A (talk) 03:59, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Train in 2014 - trainnew.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 03:39, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Train (band), as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:06, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Hector Maldonado

[edit]

Hello StaceyLovesHector,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hector Maldonado for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. scope_creep 16:58, 27 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
