Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Information icon Hello, I'm Jeraxmoira. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Arvind Krishna (cinematographer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 09:45, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Arvind Krishna (cinematographer). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 09:56, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Arvind Krishna (cinematographer). Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Sreeramrayala. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Arvind Krishna (cinematographer), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 09:46, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing and Edit requests.

[edit]

Please do not directly edit Arvind Krishna (cinematographer) as it is very evident that you have a conflict of interest. To make changes to that article, first follow the guidelines on WP:COI and disclose your connection with Arvind Krishna on your user page. Then proceed to make an edit request via the Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard with proper sources for the information you are trying to add. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 07:47, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Your reason here Sreeramrayala (talk) 08:08, 23 December 2024 (UTC) I am writing to request that my account be unblocked to allow me to edit Mr. Arvind Krishna’s Wikipedia page.[reply]

I was unaware of Wikipedia's detailed policies and guidelines and was simply trying to edit the page to correct inaccuracies and improve its content. Currently, the page contains irrelevant and overly bland information that does not truly represent Mr. Krishna’s work and contributions. My intent was only to provide accurate and relevant updates.

I understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia’s rules, and I am willing to ensure my edits align with these standards. Could you kindly reconsider the block and provide any guidance on how I can proceed in compliance with the platform's expectations?

Thank you for your understanding and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Do not use AI to write your unblock request, as it will be declined. Please write it yourself and read the pages linked above in blue, specifically User_talk:Sreeramrayala#Referencing_and_Edit_requests. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 08:38, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello ChatGPT, I'm surprised you were unaware of Wikipedia's policy against promotion. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 08:53, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ChatGPT, don't edit something you have a COI with. Try editing something like American Dad first.DACartman (talk) 14:39, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
