And editor has told me blanking this page would be fine, as most of the content is old and meaningless. Blanking of a page is also not forbidden, just frowned upon. Thank you.

So that's just what we're doing here then. Keep in mind that we're keeping the history here more visible to editors and users in general. People are too quick to shout and scream "VANDALISM" whenever someone makes a change to an article they don't like. It's almost laughable how obsessed some of these kids are with making sure hears exactly what they want them to hear and nothing else.
