This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Robin Allen, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.thecrossbowmansden.com/Autobiography.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Crossbow. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. The recent edit you made to Crossbow constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. Tommy! 21:22, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Crossbow. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Tommy! 21:23, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Spykey808, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 21:34, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|I was making edits to "Crossbow" and it may have appeared I was removing items i.e vandalizing, but I am new to this and while simply editing the page several times, to see what it would look like, it must have looked like I was removing other content. I only removed my own submissions and tried to re-post them (copy and paste). I will be more careful in the future, please fix my edit priveleges.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Seems reasonable to me. Check out WP:SANDBOX - it's a whole page where you can just mess around and see what kind of changes you can make. Also, there's that "Show Preview" button where you can see it and not save it.

Request handled by: Smashvilletalk

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

You were falsely blocked in my opinion; user should be unblocked. Tommy! 21:44, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No objections to the unblock. :) Cheers, -- Cirt (talk) 23:11, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think there would be...and Tommy, it was an appropriate use of a preventative block. Spykey stopped what he was doing, provided an explanation for what he was trying to do, it was an entirely reasonable and plausible explanation which an examination of his edits backed up, and so he was unblocked. --Smashvilletalk 16:22, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Guenter Otto Couvreux.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
