Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. Another welcome

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Based on your username, it looks like we share a lot of interests. I've tried my best to clean up your newly created page Forum (weather) to look like a typical Wikipedia page by adding Wikilinks and adhering to Wikipedia's policy of neutral point of view. Don't worry that there's a lot of policies and typical styles here at Wikipedia- you're not expected to know everything right off the bat, and anything you do can be undone if it's a mistake. As Opes said above, be bold in editing pages. I recommend that you take a look at a lot of the pages he has listed above, as they can be enormously helpful. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out! EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 19:30, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vote for weather

[edit]

As a regular contributor to the article about weather, I would urge you to vote for it at WP:AID. This will help attract more contributors to the article. - Samsara (talkcontribs) 01:23, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:14, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. You may place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page if you oppose an article's speedy deletion. Thanks. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:17, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Texanballer) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Signing talk page posts

[edit]

As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Stardust8212 01:13, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made during May 8 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. PrestonH(Review Me!)(Sign Here!) 03:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Realgm.com

[edit]

An editor has nominated Realgm.com, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Realgm.com and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Geovany Soto.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Geovany Soto.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:28, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the recent edit you made to Idiot has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. —DerHexer (Talk) 22:58, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Kyle Coles"

[edit]

A page you created, Kyle Coles, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Tiderolls 00:04, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2020–21 Southern Illinois Salukis men's basketball team, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources, currently, it has zero. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:09, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
