Sport De Facto is the biggest Armenian sport magazine. Being still too young, it has already gained the sympathy of the sport lovers in Armenia and abroad.

History

The first issue of Sport De Facto was published in October 2011. The first personality, who was featured on the cover of the magazine was The president of Armenian National Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan [[2]] http://www.df.am/journals/gagik-carukyan-sport.html

"Sport Tragedies"- The feature tells about the biggest tragedies in the history of sport.

Exclusive interviews

Sport De Facto focuses on exclusive interviews with world famous athletes. The interviews are done by Armenian sport journalist Narine Daneghyan . Among the interviewees of the magazine have already been Argentine's professional tennis player of Armenian descent and former world no. 3 David Nalbandyan , curling world champion of 2011 Reid Carruthers, goalkeeper of Russian national football team and FC Zenit Vyacheslav Malafeev ,etc.

Sportsman of the year

Sport De Facto magazine annually presents "the Sportsman of the Year" award to the athlete whose performance that year most embodies the spirit of sportsmanship and achievement. In 2011 Armenian wrestler Roman_Amoyan was the first winner of this award.
