Chrysocephalum semipapposum - two lead sentences

This edit to Chrysocephalum semipapposum seems to have introduced two lead sentences, in particular we have two introductory sentences with bold formatted text. Probably the second one (your addition) is intended to replace the first, but I don't want to just delete the first because it has references that probably need to be moved. (I'm not a subject matter expert, so I can't easily move them to the appropriate place in the new text.) Could you merge the two paragraphs please, preserving the references.
