Company limited by guarantee

[edit]

It is the company's house which institutes the law so here on wikipedia we need to word it like the law does. Its not Copywrite. Cheers. frummer 17:39, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your missing the point here, we are not copying the law but companies house wesite verbatim, fair use DOES NOT apply to text, it applies on wikipedia in a very limited fashion to images only, except for small excrepts Wikipedia:Fair_use#Text, you can see the crown copyright statment from comapnies house here, specifically it allows only free of charge re production which is incomaptible with the GFDL lisence all wikipedia text must follow. Also please note the bloded text Do not edit this page until an administrator has resolved this issue., Thanks. Benon 03:47, 7 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Reporting usernames to AIV

[edit]

Hi Benon! I noticed you just reported a user to AIV for having an inappropriate username. I've blocked the user, but I'd like to take this chance to make you aware of Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention, which is the new venue for reporting usernames, just to keep the two facets separate. There's no problem with reporting to AIV still, but if you can ease into reporting usernames to UAA, that'd be great :) Cheers, – Riana 13:36, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not very long, about a month? So we're trying to get the word out there :) – Riana 13:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Sorry to see you've withdrawn your RFA. Maybe you'll be able to run again one day when there's not so much idiocy in the community. See you around. // Pilotguy radar contact 20:07, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you do want to be an admin, I suggest you don't disappear, but you start editing again. If you do that, I think that you will pass your next RfA. Good luck, Will (is it can be time for messages now plz?) 20:40, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tom McMahon Wiki Neutrality Dispute

[edit]

An individual has put a message up on the Tom McMahon Wiki page disputing the neutrality of the article. This is one of many individuals who has been determined to post information concerning an incident that took place last year concerning campaign signs. The challenge was put forth to find sourced information that was positive towards the mayor. I accepted the challenge and added a number of pieces of information and did my best to remove any POV besides that of Tom McMahon himself. It is my belief that the user DirtyBirdy78 is one of the anonymous users that has come around before and focused solely on trying to add nothing but negativity to the McMahon article, though there is no evidence to substantiate that belief, it is a gut feeling I think someone should explore in addition to seeing if the user in question has attempted to make such changes before with a different username.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give in resolving the problem. And the truth shall set you free! 23:37, 24 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

How to request deletion for Pentium Dual-Core?

[edit]

I just received the memo. I'm not actually destroying the work of Pentium Dual-Core article, but trying to request deletion. I think that article is unnecessary. Many people considers Pentium Dual-Core as Core-L or Celeron-L project. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Christisoursavior (talkcontribs) 03:35, 11 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
