Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Spidersquad. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 09:30, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Spidersquad, do read WP:COI. What are you are doing now is essentially spamming articles. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 10:47, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018

Information icon Hello, I'm Isaidnoway. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Degeneration theory have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. - Why are you adding Alison M. Moore to as many articles as you can? Please don't do that. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 14:30, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your edit at Private Case, because you just added another Alison Moore citation, without adding content. This isn't a useful practice. Jessicapierce (talk) 22:48, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jessicapierce. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Sadomasochism have been undone because they did not appear constructive.
