Hi
[edit]Dorood Please read WP:RS, WP:OR and other policies. On Nezami, I tried to reach a fair and balanced wording. For serious scholars the matter is clear and they can pursue the sources. At the same time, since such articles are prone to vandalism, mentinoning fringe opinion will not harm anything.--Nepaheshgar (talk) 15:14, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Statue of Shah Ismail in Iran .jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Statue of Shah Ismail in Iran .jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. — neuro(talk)(review) 14:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Possibly unfree File:Statue of Ariobarzan .jpg
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Statue of Ariobarzan .jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — neuro(talk)(review) 14:33, 24 March 2009 (UTC) --— neuro(talk)(review) 14:33, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to List of largest empires, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability and the content has been removed. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. dougweller (talk) 21:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Persian/Arabic script
[edit]We don't put this in the middle of the article unless there is a very good reason. The Arabic names are given at the relevant articles about those places - this is why we have blue links on Wikipedia. --Folantin (talk) 21:19, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary for your edits. Thank you. dougweller (talk) 06:18, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Artemisia I of Caria. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. dougweller (talk) 06:19, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of largest empires. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You may be right, but you are still edit warring and are not providing sources. I've suggested sources on the talk page but I strongly suggest you leave this article alone for a day, and when you return use edit summaries and sources dougweller (talk) 08:50, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Saladin kurdish hero.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Saladin kurdish hero.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:05, 25 March 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — neuro(talk)(review) 12:05, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Just so you know...
[edit]Hi. Yes, we know about that article. It is not correct. In fact, it was made up by a Wikipedia editor (who is now banned). Ok? -- Fullstop (talk) 20:33, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Talk pages
[edit]Hi Spider, please stop removing comments from talk pages, like Saladin or Razi. It doesn't matter if the comments are stupid or wrong, that's what the talk pages are there for. Adam Bishop (talk) 12:51, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to The Lion and Sun. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Just two sections above this one, I had already cautioned you that the material you were inserting was incorrect. Since you have not responded to that, but re-added the erroneous material without comment, and have even replaced attributed content with junk (while leaving the attribution to ostensibly support that junk), it would seem that you intentionally intend to undermine the integrity of this encyclopedia. I strongly discourage you from trying that again.
