Thanks for commenting! That was a good idea, but I was going to address it tomorrow, but since you brought it up now: RbpolsenTalk to me! Thanks for your time! Did you see my new and improved guest book?

RbpolsenTalk to me! 07:50, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank You

Wow! Another award. Thank you for telling me about them. The more you like them, the more I feel inclined to add more and more! It's getting harder though, I'm running out of things to make fun off! I think I will write more suggested separation/fusion tags, they seem to have a good supply. I can't believe you gave me two awards! I will try to continue making more. I love getting commented on them. If you really like them, You have my permission and my recommendation to add them to your userpage or talkpage. If I get a big enough fan page, I will open a section for them similar to the barnstar page. Once again thanks, Rbpolsen (talk) 05:01, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for siting me! I really appreciate it! Rbpolsen (talk) 03:41, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry

Dear Spiby, I apologize for improper granting of the wrong award. I have given you a minor barnstar for finding my userpage which is in fact intended to be given for many minor edits. I have replaced the award with a new award my by myself. (since that's what I do, and I couldn't find an award for finding pages.) You are the first person ever to receive this new award. In fact, your userpage is the only page it's linked to! Sorry, once again. Thanks, Rbpolsen (talk) 06:15, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Topper (comic), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Topper (comic book). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:33, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I was moving the article. Topper (comic book) now redirects to Topper (comic).--Spiby (talk) 12:57, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Project Finland

Why does Project Finland claim each model of Nokia phone? What are the project's plans for these articles? -- Mikeblas (talk) 19:14, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, Nokia is a Finnish company so I suppose the different models fall within the scope of WikiProject Finland. Most of these articles are stubs or in other ways badly written, so we'll need to improve the articles significantly. By adding these articles to WikiProject Finland I hoped that other editors who contribute to the project would notice these articles and do something about them. I'm naturally willing to contribute myself but I find it's easier if we're many. I hope You'll also help. Thanks, Spiby 19:25, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
It seems like Nokia is a very large company in Finland, and important to its economy. But I doubt that the individual products mean anything to Finland, as a nation. While it's great to try to get help for some articles, this seems like a bit of nationalism to me--and I also haven't seen WikiProjects do much meaningful work after "claiming" batches of articles. -- Mikeblas (talk) 20:03, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Maybe your right, but I also wanted to give visibility for the project so other editors (like you!) would notice our modest project and perhaps consider joining. I hope your not angry with me... Spiby 08:28, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

I suggest you to remove WikiProject Finland templates from Nokia phone articles. I think the Finland Project got much important things to do .--Z10x (talk) 15:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Why remove? That just makes the servers overload by creating a too long file-history. My idea of making other editors notice the project must have worked since two of you already have noticed it. I see from your contributions you have edited a lot of Finland-related articles, why not join the project? Spiby 08:16, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the Barnstar!

Hi, thanks so much for the Barnstar! It is the first one I have ever received, and so it has been given pride of place on my userpage! I am full of glee! Phileas (talk) 15:28, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome! You made my day, and I felt like my edits where not invisible :) Spiby 17:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Belated thanks for my Barnstar - I only just spotted it! Bingobangobongoboo (talk) 12:27, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

A little present / hardcoded "tags"

I've been working on some hardcoded tags! They really are HARDcoded. This first one is a present to you!

This user is Spiby, and is thusly, awesome!
Please do not envy Spiby, for perhaps you are awesome to!

Since you might not want to edit the page yourself, I have the code right here:

This allows me to, among other things, specify the color of the pre-content box, borders, and backround! (something that I plan to make a template of!) And, you are welcome to convert this code into a template for your page. No citation would be necessary. (my little treat :-p...)

Since you might not want to edit the page yourself, I have the code right here:

<table style="margin: 0 10%; border-collapse: collapse; background: #fbfbfb; border: 1px solid #aaa; border-left: 10px solid green;">
<tr>
<td style="padding: 2px 0px 2px 0.5em; text-align: center;">
[[Image:Face-angel.svg|50px]]
</td>
<td style="padding: 0.25em 0.5em; width: 100%;">'''This user is [[User:Spiby|Spiby]], and is thusly, awesome!'''
<br /><small>
Please do ''not'' envy Spiby, for perhaps you are awesome to!
</small></td>
</tr>
</table>

From: Guess how? Is it possible?! OMG!!!! RbpolsenTalk to me! 04:48, 17 March 2008 (UTC) (yes, your silly anonymous friend that spends way to much time experimenting with code, creating awards, and most of all, editing his own userpage than actually editing for the good of real articles! ;-)

Thanks, I changed it a bit so it looked better. As for this, the No fun policy linked to your user-page. Isn't that giving you more credit than what you changed it into? Spiby 15:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the award!

That was a nice surprise! Much appreciated. freshacconcispeaktome 15:25, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

You deserve it! My watchlist is always full of your reverts ;) Spiby 15:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

your correction

thats for catching that vandalism of the number 42 on my talk page. You are a true member of the 42nd cabal. 101010Pewwer42  Talk  21:16, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. Why was the cabal deleted? Spiby 42! 14:56, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Bungalow Bill and Revolution 9

Try listening at 3:40, I'm fairly confident it's a sample of that. Oh, and please disregard the talk page for this IP. One of the banes of being on a proxy.

128.243.253.217 (talk) 12:55, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I tried, and I'm not sure. What part of Bungalow Bill do you hear? Spiby 13:04, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the barnstar, I really appreciate it. :) JimboV1 04:13, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome! I think you deserve it. Spiby 18:23, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Tell Me Why

Hi Spiby, I reverted the Beach Boys’ info box because it contained a whole list of songs that are not relevant to the Beatles song. It’s important to keep an article uncorrupted, and not to clutter it with too much peripheral information. I do though see your point regarding precedents - although I would prefer to just see a simple link in each case. Revert it back if you disagree. I remember the Beach Boys version well btw, as I bought the album when it when it first came out!--Patthedog (talk) 14:13, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I disagree about the article becoming corrupted. I mentioned Money (That's What I Want) as an example, it has three different infoboxes. Every infobox contains interesting information, such as the lenght of each recording, record label, producer etc. Since you said it was okay for me to revert, I added back the infobox, but with less links. Thanks for being understanding! Spiby 16:09, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
