Vandal

Thanks for the head's up. The vandal is now blocked indefinitely. --Fang Aili talk 15:41, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

re: Formatting

No problem mate, I think we all learn the nowiki thing through correction. Cheers, Jonomacdrones (talk) 16:34, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

POD review sites

Should be included in the links as a matter of completeness. I don't understand the arbitrary, child-like behavior of wiki "editors"--do you know anything about the POD world? Listing POD review sites is about being thorough with regard to an emerging publishing phenomenon.

Before the arbitrary edits, I have looked up POD on wiki and found the POD world review site in the links section, a site that I bookmarked because I found it interesting. Now subsequent readers of the article won't know about it. It's a shame. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.192.189.252 (talk) 17:12, 10 April 2007 (UTC).

Thanks

With vandals like that they know what they are doing and as far as I am concerned they don't need the fll template set. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 18:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Re: Intervention request

Ok. I looked at the dispute after receiving your message. I did not look into the actual content of the edits but I left a message on the article talk page regardless. Hope you are able to resolve the issue.↔NMajdantalk 17:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I looked into it also; this user has a history of vandalism and I don't trust his edits. I will watch the article you mentioned. --Fang Aili talk 17:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
You can ask questions any time. :) --Fang Aili talk 20:37, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
I will agree to stop reverting until this has been resolved. I have left the current version untouched, but have asked for citations on other claims made which have clearly been made with the use of local knowledge and orginal research. I.e. "Enderby is said to be a typical example of a traditional English village".... By who? I could go on but i'm sure I have made my point. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Belovedaunt (talkcontribs) 23:35, 11 April 2007 (UTC).

How do I...?

Thanks for offering to help! I'm having trouble with my user page. I want the tags I've added to be at the right of the screen and in a vertical column but I keep messing it up. Could you have a go at this then I can see what you did? --Speed Air Man 20:41, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I added some tags. Did that do the trick? --Fang Aili talk 20:44, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

re: Barnstar

Aw, thank you! --Fang Aili talk 20:54, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

it was well earned! --Speed Air Man 20:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I've removed the unsourced stuff that falls under WP:BLP (biographies of living persons). Wikipedia as a whole needs to be really careful about adding stuff about living people, without sources. Therefore just about all of it should be removed. If any of the socks keep re-adding it I will warn them and block if necessary.

I don't think TomTomOne's edit was intended as vandalism--looks like he meant to post it on your talk page.[1] Though I agree that TomTomOne, Belovedaunt, and that IP are all the same person. Will continue to keep an eye on it.. --Fang Aili talk 14:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

I left Tom a message. I think the problems with this article are mainly resolved (except for the Bravo show whatevers), but we will just keep reverting that if it is inserted without sources again. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 13:39, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Check it out: consider yourself adopted. ;) [2] --Fang Aili talk 13:51, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
LOL. --Fang Aili talk 13:55, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

With the greatest of respect, how can you revert my edit asking for citations on unsourced claims and the removal of POV material with the reason stated being "reverted vandalism" and then a mere seven minutes later make another edit with reason stated being "cleaned up to reflect encyclopedic tone, POV and unsourced material removed"?. Beloved Aunt 23:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

I actually removed the comments that you highlighted as being POV and unsourced, namely "enderby is said to be a traditional english village" etc. Speed Air Man 10:55, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Levi H. Dowling page

Dear Speed Air man, Thanks for the edit in Levi H. Dowling actually, I was working on the page when you put the tag :). I saved instead of preview, that's why the categories and references were absent. Thanks again and best wishes, --Cyril Thomas 10:35, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
