Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fedtr.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:49 1.jpg. The copy called Image:49 1.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 19:32, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to Fedor Emelianenko. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Specifically, do not leave articles in a broken state formatting-wise. east.718 23:45, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Fedor Emelianenko. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. east.718 06:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I am referring to comments made on East718's talk page. Mmoneypenny 12:34, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Emelianenko can be considered both Ukrainian and Russian, as he was born in Ukraine but later moved to, lives in, and identifies with Russia. Please stop removing information from the page. Also, please do not add pseudonyms without citing a reliable source. Lastly, the personal attack on my talk page was uncalled for. Thanks! east.718 13:06, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not leave a warning template on my talk page. The information I am adding in is properly sourced, what you are is not. According to the BLP policy, unsourced information should be removed immediately. If you keep on doing this, you are in danger of violating WP:3RR. east.718 01:21, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, I have reported you for violating the three-revert rule policy. east.718 12:56, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:KhimkiBC.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:KhimkiBC.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:06, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Spartak.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Spartak.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:04, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cskka.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
